I’ve been preparing to start taking the CPA over the past few months and have visited these message boards many times as a resource, so I thought I’d finally joing the club.

I’m taking BEC this Tuesday (Feb 23) and I’ve been studying for it using Becker since late December. I travel a lot for work, and while I thought it would be easier to study while on the road, that has not always been the case. I lost some momentum in my studying in late January, but picked it up again in February and have had a few great weeks of preparation.

I just took thtake the practice exam again tomorrow and see how I do. Are the questions on the actual exam very math intensive? Becker had some difficult math intensive questions in the chapter practice problems (especially chapter 5), but they didn’t come e Becker practice exam and scored an 89%. However, I thought the questions were a little too easy. I’m going to up on the practice exam. I guess I’m just a little worried and anxious to find out whats going to be on the actual test.

I’ll post what I get on my practice exam tomorrow to see if the first one was a fluke or not.

Sam,

Most people agree that the Becker problems are harder and more intense than those on the real exam. I took my first exam – BEC this window and found out I passed, using Becker. With your practice scores being that high, you shouldn't have a problem. Chapter 3 & 5 were heavily tested for me. Also Ch. 4, information tech.
