I feel like I'm gonna fail BEC again

ERM and some of IT seem soooo broad and it’s really frustrating me now. I have BEC on wednesday and I don’t know what to do. IT I always hear is not well taught in any courses and yet somehow people pass with it being heavily tested.

Which review course are you using and how many MCQ have you done? I honestly think doing tons of MCQ is the best approach for BEC, particularly when it comes to IT. That was the only way I studied for IT – I just did every Ninja question in that topic until I got them all right at least once. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I felt with the IT questions on the exam after doing that. Also, keep in mind when you're in the exam – some of the crazy, out-there IT questions are most likely pre-test.

@Lindsey_p87 I did about 1200 of Becker's MCQ. And now just going back to book to rewrite notes and reread the book over my last 12 days of review but I'm just really nervous I'm gonna screw this thing up again. I'm more confident with the harder topics at this point than Coso, and IT. I have basic COSO terminology down and can easily tell which principal goes with what component and such but I had some ODD questions on my last exam. one asked something about “principle 12 of COSO” and never did I hear about principles being numbered.

Idk how your exam will be, but my exam hammered me with COSO and IT in the MCQ. If you are confident in the other topics, I wouldn't hesitate to spend most of the rest of your time focused on those 2. Not trying to urge you to spend more money, but it may be worth it to purchase a month of Ninja to get a slightly different test bank of questions on those topics, assuming you can hammer out a decent amount more in the next couple days.

Also, it couldn't hurt to look up other explanations on youtube, etc., especially for COSO. Sometimes it can make it click to hear the info in slightly different terminology.

ERM and COSO make sure you memorize the summarized letters. The “CRIME” and the “GOPRO” or whatever. The meaning behind each and principles. You will be fine!
IT I also did poorly. I just don't have experience in that area. But those are only 2 out of a zillion topics of BEC. They are big, but as long as you do a moderate job, you should be fine.

    Shoot for the stars!
