Anyone know how important it is to go over these?

I’m crunched for time and haven’t hit the IT section yet, but looking at this wall of text scares me. It looks like almost every comment the national instructor made or note he wrote down was wrong in a way, it makes me think using Becker for the IT section is just a waste of time. I’m kind of stuck right now, not knowing what to do for this section, has anyone used Becker 2009 BEC for the IT section and found it to be fine? I don’t really have time to go over all these updates and the original lectures too, especially considering I might be learning false things going through the original lectures. :/

I took BEC on 11/28 and used the 2009 Becker material to prepare. I had great plans of getting a lot of studying done while I was home for Thanksgiving and there wasn't work or friends to distract me. Long story short I didn't get to study as much as I would have liked to, but I did make sure to re-read the IT chapter in depth, even the stuff the national instructors skipped over. I definitely feel like this gave me the answer to a few questions I would not have known otherwise. I think a high level understanding of the concepts is more important than the details for my experience. The only thing I don't know is if there have actually been changes made since last testing window that might afffect you testing in this window. Hope that helps!

I am experiencing the same panic. I think I've decided that you can't know everything that will be on the test. However, if you nail down what's actually in Chpt. 4 you will be in good shape. I think trying to know all the stuff in the update and the technical addendum will spread yourself too thin. The instructor mispoke mainly not necessarily that the text was wrong. Or he was trying to get the info to make sense and his example wasn't quit right. There are a couple misprints but the text is good. I tried reading some of the addendum but i was think it was doing more harm to me than good. The addendum does a great job of connecting all the page numbers so if you are struggling with a part in chpt.4 it wouldn't hurt to look up what the addendum says or what the glossary says. Hope that helps.
