    Few questions:

    (1) Would working at H&R Block satisfy the education requirements for CPA licensure in California?

    (2) What is the fastest & easiest way to satisfy the education requirements in California?

    (3) What career advice would you give to an aspiring tax accountant?

Background: Poly Sci major, got an MBA (w/concentration in Accounting), and a Juris Doctorate in May. Studying for FAR now….

    1. H&R Block wouldn't satisfy the education requirement, but would probably satisfy the work experience.
    2. Are you sure you haven't satisfied the requirements with your MBA coursework? You might just need an ethics course and a few more accounting credits. I've seen specific tips on this forum for online courses to get these credits.
    3. My career advice would be to figure out what kind of tax you want to do and try to get in a firm that specializes in that.

Why pass four exams when you can pass six?

    AUD - 87 (expired, 2/12), 81 (7/19)

    BEC - 81 (expired, 4/12), 86 (7/19)

    FAR - 89 (4/19)

    REG - 82 (5/19)
