Prometric, greatly disappointed with exam site

During my exam, the temperature in the room went from warm and muggy to just barely cool. Each work station had a fan and a ceramic heater. I don’t know how much standardization there is in exam facilities, but this one needed some work. I think next time I am going in running shorts with no pockets and a t-shirt and take in a sweater. They asked me to turn my BACK jeans pockets inside out. Come on now. Lets get real. I understand the need for security, but Prometric should hire people with common sense!

Is it wise to complain about issues at Prometric?

Anyone else have issues with the exam site?

The exam has that survey so I don't see why you shouldn't complain if you have some issues. But what's wrong with checking your back pockets? My understand is they are just like side pockets but in the back!

well, i know most girls are unable to turn their back jean pockets inside out… pretty much impossible unless you wear jeans that are 10x too big! But i would definitely make comments at the end of the exam regarding your testing site… they have that option for a reason 🙂

I think every prometric has the back pocket deal, been to 2 different ones so far. My jeans have ‘fake' pockets, so there's nothing to see, but they will still ask you. Plus fingerprints everytime you leave and come back even though they see you hang out in the hallway. It's their procedures, has nothing to do with prometric staff i think. But the temperature varies. They will take your hoodie/jacket away if you take it off so you can only reclaim it during a break, if need be. My fingerprints were unreadable when i took my first (FAR) so they had to take manual ones with black ink and all, not a big deal, just had to wash my hands (is that why i didn't get my FAR score in wave 1? lol)
