@Chris I wanted to obtain the CGMA back when they gave it away if you were already a licensed CPA, but I missed the deadline. Now they have all of these hoops and a case study for something that a few years ago, they just handed to people. Even if I would have gotten the CGMA before the AICPA required a test, I would have still pursued the CMA exam. I think that the AICPA wants to use the CGMA to compete with the CMA certification because the CMA is gaining some popularity. I'm not knocking the CGMA, if someone has the credential, it's great to have but for me, I just can't see myself paying for it.

How did everyone do on their CMA exam rehearsals, whether Gleim or Wiley, versus their actual score?

I used Gleim on Part 1, scored a 72 and actual exam was a 360. I take Part 2 in a week and I scored an 82 on my rehearsal using Gleim.

I used Wiley and I thought the questions in the course accurately reflected the difficulty of the questions on the actual exam. I am still waiting on my part 2 result, but on part 1, I would say I did a little better on the actual exam than in the practice exams. You also have the essays on the exam to help you out (assuming you do well on them).

@ Chelsea : I used Gleim for both CMA part 1 and part 2. On my first pass of going through all 2K questions I got around 80% for both parts.

I went through all the questions again a second time and got a similar result. This served as a confirmation of my weak areas.

Towards the end I would focus on my weak points (missed questions) and would push my sore up to the 85% to 90% range days before the exam.

    REG - 93 90% Gleim MCQ/book + 10% Wiley MCQ

    BEC - 79 100% Wiley MCQ/book

    FAR - 88 100% Gleim MCQ/book + Ninja Audios

    AUD - 85 100% Wiley MCQ/book + Ninja Audios

    Licensed CPA as of 2019

    CMA Pt 1  400  100% Gleim MCQ/book

    CMA Pt 2  Pending Score
