I am considering applying for the CITP credential. I believe that I meet the requirements but I’m not sure how to document the work experience that I have in the Body of Knowledge. I am the administrator for our BI software. The application doesn’t appear to require that information be documented, but I assume I would need to be able to support it somehow, at some point. The education portion I’m sure I can support with my college education (AIS focus and Business Computer Information Systems minor).

Any input?

Nope, it is offered by the AICPA. Certified Information Technology Professional.

I don't know anything to help you with. My old boss was an IT auditor, but I don't remember his designation. It wasn't CITP.

I thought you needed 75 hours of cpe also..definitely move on it soon before the exam is required next month

CPA isn't required in order to qualify, only to maintain.

June 15th is application cut-off before exam will be required. I emailed the aicpa to ask this question, but haven't heard back. Hopefully will hear Monday.
