I am studying for the EA exam and plan to sit for the Individual part in a couple of months. Looking for someone else who is studying and would like to study together by sharing ideas and thoughts. Thanks.

I finished the EA exam a few years back.
I used the Gleim EA review. 8 ish weeks for Part 1, 4-6 weeks for part3, and about 10 weeks for part 2.
Passed all 3 on the first try. I took the exam very seriously and the ability to sign off on POA's for clients to represent them in audits was important for my job and it has paid off handsomely.
I had about 12 years in tax when I took the exam and was over-prepared, but the courses taught me a great deal of the finer details.

Exam taking tip. I wrote down a one or 2 word description for each question. It was amazing the amount of questions that I could find the answers from other questions on the test, or compare 2 questions to re-affirm my answer for both of them.
