ParticipantCan someone please tell me where to find the time limit details for the 18 mo. window? I'm on crunch time and PRAYING I might still have a chance to make the deadline. I took the exam in May 2015, got results in early June 2015. Is my deadline end of Oct or November? (Why can't I find this online???!!)

Participant@lhope86, if you're a NASBA state, you can log in here https://cpacentral.nasba.org. Your exams will be listed with their expiration dates. This is from the NASBA site, “Credit for any section passed shall be valid for 18 months from the actual date the examination sections were taken.” It sounds like your deadline is the end of November.

InactiveThank you guys. Last time failed with 74. I am not sure about this time whether I did better. So far passed BEC and FAR.Failed AUD and FAR before. This is my 2nd attempt in AUD.Almost 12 months passed from the date of preparation. Started preparing last year August, 2015. Its a long journey and sometimes frustrating.Balancing between kids, work and studying needs more discipline.
Good luck to all of you guys – soFARsogood, trele6, crusheverything.
Enjoy your weekend 🙂

ParticipantWell this was an unkind score release for me. My last test I needed to pass and I get a 74…. I guess I will have a few more weeks of studying AUD and try again in October. Sucks, I felt the test was pretty easy and just knew I was done…

Participant@trele6, I got 74 last time and it was very difficult for me, after I took AUD I was afraid to get another bad score. As long as you study, I am sure you can pass. Also for Audit, I think reading is way more important than doing mcq

Participant@vanessachy, that was going to be my first plan of attack for the re-test. reading the Becker book and re-watching the videos and then just doing progress tests over and over again until test day.

Inactive@trele6 sorry about the AUD. All the best for your retake. You will be done soon.
I just barely escaped in AUD scoring 75. Last time it was 74. Actually felt much confident during first time.
One more to go – REG.
I saw you scored 87 in REG.Any tips or advice appreciated and helps. Can you please share your experience in preparing for the REG.
FAR – 63,80
BEC – 80
AUD – 74,75
REG – Q4/2016Thanks in advance for the help 🙂

Participant@ESENTHIL, REG was my first test, and I studied probably the most for it. I will say using the AL on the SIMs really had to have helped my score. After doing my research question I went to each SIM and trying to vouch it against the tax code. I found a lot of little obscure things that were never mentioned in Becker and changed my answers because of it.
Also, I would focus on the tax stuff obviously, to me the ethics and Blaw was a little easy.
I just rescheduled my audit retake for Oct 7th meaning I will have to wait until Nov. 4th for my grade.. four weeks will be miserable, but I hope I get that elusive 75 so I can be done with this process.
