Yes, I know of several people who made an appeal and got an extension to keep the scores for 24 months. The AICPA is supposedly considering extending the time period from 18 to 24 months. So the people who appealed it got their license even though they passed within 24 months. Fact check me on that one because I m only sharing what someone told me.May 12, 2019 at 10:18 pm #2398164krstnamParticipant
Passed FAR finally! Was certain I failed, didn’t believe it when i saw it, had to have my husband check because I didn’t believe it.May 17, 2019 at 10:08 am #2408157SteveParticipant

I suspect they will release tomorrow night. I'm at the point of indifference regarding the license. Just let this process end for me already.May 21, 2019 at 11:03 am #2416584
Really anxious to find out my REG result and hopefully be all done. Does anyone know if we would be able to use the eyeball trick by tonight?May 21, 2019 at 12:37 pm #2416731SandraParticipant
@motivated2019 I am waiting on REG too and I will be done! I have been really calm about it but now I am starting to get Anxious. I felt really good coming out of the exam this time so hope thats a good sign.
I think the eyeball thing will start working throughout the day tomorrow as they begin importing scores. I'm kind of glad I don't have that option or I would literally be refreshing the page all day long
Good Luck to all tomorrow (or Thursday)May 21, 2019 at 1:10 pm #2416797
Waiting for my FAR score is making me ill. I took it back in March and got a 74. I was working a full time internship, didn't get to do a mock exam, and my review stage was all over the place. This time I spent roughly 6 weeks and studied full time. My mock exam scores were a 70 and an 81. Test day was still a struggle, I really feel like it could go either way. I don't feel any post-test difference in terms of my confidence in comparison to last time. I felt decent on the first set of sims, the second set I felt ‘okay,' and the third set I feel like I was a rough 1 for 3. Who knows…I really gave it all I had this time around and I'll do anything to have this one exam out of the way before I start working full time this summer.May 21, 2019 at 1:10 pm #2416800
@Sandra, thanks! honestly, I have been checking since this morning, but I guess I should stop now, at least until tomorrow.
Good Luck to you too!May 21, 2019 at 2:04 pm #2416959ParkerParticipant
I am relatively new to this whole score release process, can someone explain what the eyeball loophole is when checking for scores early? Thanks!May 21, 2019 at 2:22 pm #2417010SandraParticipant
@Parker the “eyeball trick” only works if you had a score released during the same quarter and your score is released thru the NASBA portal.
If you received a score this quarter you should be able to log into NASBA portal and see your score release paper (eyeball to the right on score release page). If you have that available tomorrow before they announce the score release time they will begin uploading/importing scores and you can click on the eyeball and the score you are waiting for will be updated. Hope this makes sense – there is no set time to see it thru this trick
ThanksMay 21, 2019 at 2:24 pm #2417013ParkerParticipant
@Sandra Yes that makes sense! I should be able to utilize that tomorrow because I did receive a score this quarter. Thank you!May 21, 2019 at 5:04 pm #2417301sdollen64Participant
Would a score be seen on the NASBA site sooner than it would be on the state board site?May 21, 2019 at 5:10 pm #2417304sdollen64Participant
I actually found the answer on NASBA….. for my state it says to check the NASBA portal.May 22, 2019 at 7:36 am #2418189amandaaaParticipant

Waiting…and waiting… and waiting.. score release is a terrible waiting game!!May 22, 2019 at 10:04 am #2418546a.kendrixParticipant
HECK YES! I posted a while back a little about my cpa journey and just did the eyeball trick and found I passed FAR!! Only downside is I failed AUD again. I lost BEC credit because I didn't pass both AUD AND FAR so now I have to take it again… But I have passed the bane of my exams: FAR! There's hope people!!May 22, 2019 at 10:15 am #2418579
How many attempts at FAR? What were your scores?May 22, 2019 at 10:20 am #2418606traceylynn089Participant
I am dying! I am waiting on BEC too….If I have to wait the extra 10 days I don't know what I will do with myself. The anxiety is killing me. Has everyone received their BEC scores on the normal release date?May 22, 2019 at 10:47 am #2418687
@Tncincy, Thank you very much! Y'all have been wonderful in answering questions and motivating others on this forum. Keeping finger crossed for everyone!!May 22, 2019 at 11:00 am #2418732a.kendrixParticipant
COFFEES56- I have taken FAR 5 times now… I know… I'm stupid, and a glutton for punishment. I started my CPA journey in October 2016 and Have scored (in order) 73, 68, 60, 71 and a passing unknown result until tonight. The 60 score was when I had two weeks to test and I really shouldn't have taken that exam but I went ahead because some people encouraged me to “take as many times as you can”
Keep after it! I was about to call it quits two weeks ago after failing AUD… again… I've scored a 71, 74, and 70 on Auditing so far…May 22, 2019 at 11:05 am #2418744
Wow that’s perseverance, congrats! Did you take any mocks?May 22, 2019 at 12:21 pm #241898774phoenixParticipant
I am GOING CRAZY! No score up yet for NY.
