Current delay for CBA reapplication

I just took my first exam and failed (AUD). I want to retake asap but looks like CBA (California) is on a backlog and needs 30+days to process applications. Is this also true for reapplications? Seems like the application process is more nerve-wracking than the exams itself. Can’t believe they still need paper applications. Should I just push up the next exam since I already have it scheduled for march?

It should be quicker if you are applying for a repeat NTS. From what I remember it took about 10-14 days for them to process my 2nd remittance form to get my second NTS. I would certainly try to retake AUD while it is fresh, unless you are really struggling with F/S account assertions & audit procedures. In that case studying and passing FAR first will make those parts of AUD much easier.

    REG - 91 (May 18 2020)

    FAR - 89 (Aug 24 2020)

    BEC - 95 (Sept 28 2020)

    AUD - 90 (Nov 12 2020)
