1. Use this link and click “get scores” (The green medicine pill looking icon)
2. Click “Register” on the right side of screen
3. Fill out info: BUT…. on the “Jurisdiction Code” enter your state abbreviation
4. Use the code that NASBA emailed you for the “Jurisdiction Candidate ID”
5. Create security questions
*** Scores will be released once received, not everyone will get them at the same time like in the past***March 5, 2018 at 9:00 am #1724477
If the score release part is true, I will get nothing done at work these next few days except F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5 F5March 5, 2018 at 9:01 am #1724479mkopp48Participant
What do you mean about scores being released once received? Isn't the next score release March 8th?
Waiting for my BEC score…March 5, 2018 at 9:03 am #1724480PJParticipant
where's the link?
Is there any need to do this if your state does not use NASBA for score release?March 5, 2018 at 9:03 am #1724483RTRGARTRParticipant
I mean technically, yes. But MAN they make it sound like they might start slowly trickling in…
From past experience however, this is 100% just a tease to get our hopes up I would assume however.March 5, 2018 at 9:03 am #1724485mkopp48Participant
The link is https://nasba.org/exams/cpaexam/
Not sure about the second part of your question.March 5, 2018 at 9:06 am #1724494AnonymousInactive
I never got an email from NASBA with my jurisdiction ID…..March 5, 2018 at 9:09 am #1724497
Your jurisdiction ID is on CPA central. Top right corner you see “Jurisdiction ID”. Your state code would be what directly follows that (in my case, “New York” would be “NY”). THEN, directly after New York you have an eight digit code. Delete the first 0 and insert the remaining seven numbers as your candidate ID.March 5, 2018 at 9:18 am #1724504kevinlcyanParticipant
My jursidiction ID was just the code they included in an e-mail sent over the weekend, just a straight copy paste worked.March 5, 2018 at 9:20 am #1724509AnonymousInactive
Mine keeps telling me I am not found, even though I have the CPA Central account…Urgh-they are infuriating with the lack of instructions!March 5, 2018 at 9:24 am #1724518AnonymousInactive
Never mind-like Bourne said-delete the first zero, it works…They are ridiculous…March 5, 2018 at 9:27 am #1724519rp 12Participant
Do you all see the ‘register' after clicking the above link?March 5, 2018 at 9:45 am #1724533AnonymousInactive
I received several emails from NASBA but nothing with a code in it for my candidate ID. Arkansas is not a cpa central state so how do I get this info?March 5, 2018 at 9:54 am #1724546TimParticipant
That's pretty f'ing bad that they released the new system like that. If not for this thread I'd never have figured out to put the state abbreviation instead of jurisdiction code and to use the jurisdiction ID instead of the candidate ID and then to also drop the leading 0 from it. I mean come on did they even run one single test before launching it or run it by any end user?March 5, 2018 at 9:54 am #1724549jr2018Participant
the link does not workMarch 5, 2018 at 9:56 am #1724551
Tim – no, this is their test. They probably thought it was wise to test on all of us now rather than test on all of us on 3/8 lol. I mean at least Wiley's IT team isn't behind this. We wouldn't get our scores until mid DecemberMarch 5, 2018 at 9:57 am #1724552AnonymousInactive
I agree @Tim. What a mess. I never would have figured it out either. I had to drop the leading 2 zeros to get in. Now we wait for scores. I am going to be that person hitting refresh every 30 mins, even though I know the official score release date isn't until 3/8.March 5, 2018 at 10:02 am #1724554rencpaParticipant
Thank YOU for the steps to create the NASBA account.
How about any prior passed scores? For whatever reason, I do not see any of them on the new website under my name.
Is this just me? Or NASBA is going to update the record… one day?March 5, 2018 at 10:03 am #1724557get_away06Participant
I was able to log on but the jurisdiction ID that I put in, is not the same as what is showing when I was logged in (National Candidate ID). Is that normal?March 5, 2018 at 10:04 am #1724566TimParticipant
@rencpa I don't see any old scores, either.
@get_away06 Yeah the National Candidate ID is not used, just the Jurisdiction ID.March 5, 2018 at 10:12 am #1724578rencpaParticipant
Thanks, Tim. At least, I am not en exception to the rule NASBA just “created”!
These people have no mercy on us! Don't we have enough stress from studying & waiting for the scores?
Taking my last exam this weekend. I hope our scores are going to be back soon!March 5, 2018 at 10:13 am #1724581AnonymousInactive
finally got in, had to call to get my candidate ID number. no scores 🙁March 5, 2018 at 11:00 am #1724611ReckedParticipant
Got in by the tip to remove the first zero.
I was trying all sorts of combinations.
Also entered my birthday wrong on the first few tries. Good times.
Got all logged in via desktop. Now trying to log in via phone to save passwords, and login keeps failing. One time I got to security questions, but then failed again.March 5, 2018 at 11:01 am #1724614AnonymousInactive
so does this mean we no longer use CPA Central? They really lacked in the communication aspect here…wowMarch 5, 2018 at 11:10 am #1724638ReckedParticipant
I'm assuming people would get actual emails with login links and numbers etc when this actually goes “live”, possibly in batches.
We're all just jumping the gun (possibly).
Don't care, still in, still nothing to see.March 5, 2018 at 11:11 am #1724641LJGIbbsParticipant
I won't be surprised if the upcoming score release will bring us to the “under maintenance” page and no one will have any idea if it's because scores are being updated and will come out on time or if it's “maintenance” for a different reason… everyone will stay up hoping it comes out of maintenance for the score release…March 5, 2018 at 11:11 am #1724644AnonymousInactive
hey @rp 12, you need to click “Get Scores” after you click on the link above first (the get scores button is one of the green pill looking buttons in the middle of the page). You will the get to the login page and the register link will be on the right. Took me a while to read carefully and figure that out 🙂March 5, 2018 at 11:14 am #1724650AnonymousInactive
Thanks big time for posting this. Got in but no score yet.March 5, 2018 at 11:15 am #1724654AnonymousInactive
Is it necessary to create an account even when you're in a state where NASBA does not provide online score reporting? -_-March 5, 2018 at 11:23 am #1724659ElleParticipant
I registered but can also view the old website as well? So now there's two websites with the scores..what's the point??
