    1. Use this link and click “get scores” (The green medicine pill looking icon)

    CPA Exam

    2. Click “Register” on the right side of screen
    3. Fill out info: BUT…. on the “Jurisdiction Code” enter your state abbreviation
    4. Use the code that NASBA emailed you for the “Jurisdiction Candidate ID”
    5. Create security questions
    6. Done

How am I supposed to get the ‘jurisdiction code' for the state of Texas? CPA central doens't list Texas. The code they sent in my email is called a Jurisdiction ID: 000000000XXXXXX which I assume corresponds to the “Jurisdiction Candidate ID”.

Yo use your state abbreviation as Jurisdiction code, and then Jurisdiction number with no zeros.
Mine was NY and my number on CPA Central was 8 digits with a beginning 0. Remove beginning zero.

I was also having a problem logging in initially. After reading all the posts on here and several different attempts I was able to get in with NY as the jurisdiction code, and my 6 digit jurisdiction ID. Thanks NASBA for the clear instructions =)

So now you get an email everytime you log in…
Should I count how many I get between now and the 8th?

@Bourne-lol! I predict their site is going to crash while trying to send e-mails alone on the 8th…. I am definitely drinking myself to sleep on Wednesday!

I have 6 from donotreply@nasba, but I also only let the page time out once so far.
3 were from my “almost logged in” on the cellphone, even though the phone said login failed, I still got a confirmation via email that I had signed on.

Even if I use ‘TX' as the Jurisdiction Code and my 6-digit Jurisdiction ID, dropping the leading 9 zeroes it still will not allow me to register. I think I will break down and call that number, although I'll likely be on hold forever.

Invalid combination of user information. Gateway User not found.

More like invalid combination of instructions given from NASBA.

You need to use the Jurisdiction ID not the candidate ID!! The Jurisdiction ID is what follows your state in the upper right corner of the CPA central website. I think what you are talking about with the leading 9 zeroes is the candidate ID which is below that line, don't use that! Hopefully that'll save you from a phone call!

    @mkopp48

Take a look at CPA Central, Texas isnt' listed there as an option. I've also not previously used CPA central.

Someone else said they used “TX” as the Jurisdiction Code and were able to get it to work. I have not been successful unfortunately.
