NINJA Question –

I was listening to the 2017 regulation audio, and in the audio Jeff mentions that the tax laws are good until July 2017. I am taking the exam in August, does that mean that I am listening to information that won’t be useful come exam day?

I'm going to be updating it…working on it now and should be done by mid-June. The specific tax numbers don't change much – REG is mostly conceptual, so the current audio is fine.

I took REG last August and had the prior-year book and Ninja notes and did well enough. It seemed like maybe the REG test purposely doesn't ask many tax-rate questions. Like Jeff said, mostly conceptual.
