Audio Review Course?

I currently commute 1.5 hours to and from work. I see this time as an opportunity to study. Is there a review course out there that provides comprehensive audio material? I would definitely use the Ninja Audio, but I wasn’t sure if this alone would do the trick. Is this an effective strategy? Does it depend on the section? I’d really like to make use of these long commutes.

I've been using Ninja audio for FAR. Now I failed the first test but I would listen at work or to and from work but I would drift off and think about everything else. AFTER the fail I find myself trying harder to concentrate. I think it was worth the money. I'm rewriting the notes as well but I've decided that at night I will listen to the audio of previous chapters I already rewrote, before bed and follow along with my notes. I also have a 35 min drive to work so a little over an hour of driving so if you can focus (my biggest problem) you are good!

“Comprehensive” and “Audio” are not friends.

Sure – you can get an audio course where all of the text book is barfed into the recording, but you won't listen to it.

I'm a huge audio book fan, so I designed the ninja audio around my experience as a listener – particularly while driving.

Originally I wanted an audio course alone; I have a 1.5-2 hour a day commute so thought that would be all I needed to “study.” I also didn't want to spend the money on a full course.

I know now there is no way that plan would have worked. There is far too much info in these exams to learn with just an audio course.

BTW, I love Ninja audio, listen to it every day; it is great at reminding me of what I learned through my course. But unfortunately it would not be enough to pass these exams. I did try Wiley Audio first; did not like it.

I find the ninja audio really useful. I've used it for my AUD retake and now I'm using it for BEC. It's definitely not meant to be a stand alone product. I usually study from Becker for about 2 hours every night and then listen to ninja audio on my 45 minute commute each way.

@ NTW6817 How did you do with the retake?

I just found out my results and failed AUD. It was my first exam and I had a feeling that I did not study correctly to get a solid grasp of the material. Throughout the time I was studying I was trying to look for a recording or a talk show that I could listen to on my way to work to help me keep . Then I spoke to a girl from one of my classes and she mentioned this forum because I got a 71 on my exam and told me about audio recordings that could help re-enforce everything after studying from Becker.

    AUD: 71,66
    FAR: 52, 56, 69, 73(shoot me)

@JimmyChoo I'm still waiting. I find out tomorrow since I'm in IL. I felt good coming out of it so I'll be shocked if I didn't pass but it seems like others have felt the same way.
