How do you all use Ninja Blitz?

I have Ninja audio and notes and Yaeger Home Study course and I’m going back through them after a FAR fail. My biggest difficulty is reviewing what I’ve already gone over because I want to bust out these boring videos so I end up not reviewing. Plus when I do review I have to really slow myself down. Its all self control but if some of you use the Blitz to review (which is what I’m thinking I would use it for) then I’m really thinking about getting it as I’ve been going through tonight…

Hi LStevens225! … I used the REG Blitz for my second attempt. On my first attempt, I had gone through my Wiley textbooks extensively, but I realized I never had a concrete revision plan. I got too stressed while revising and I ended up missing out on Reg with a 71 … I then bought the FAR Blitz and I scored a 78! 7 point upgrade! I really got the revision part right on the second time

I realized the Ninja Audios don't work for me because I'm a day dreamer and I end up dozing off listening to Jeff's voice. Doesn't even work in the car because I end up humming songs to myself! On the contrary, Blitz were perfect, since I could hear Jeff dictate and I could also see the notes on screen, instead of trying to picture formulae in my head.

Since the Reg course is so bulky, the Blitz helped me to recall important points in those chapters. I already had my own notes prepared for most chapters. Additionally I would copy down the Reg Blitz notes Jeff would dictate. I guess I have a better pictorial memory and it works wonders when Jeff vocally explains everything out in the notes.

The Blitz really helps in simplifying confusing material in Reg. There's a lot of interweaving points in Federal tax which can leave you exhausted if you study from Wiley. Blitz did a good job of keeping it simple (assuming that you will eventually do justice to all the concepts explained by practicing unlimited questions) … It really took away some of the burden of revising that bulky book again. After going through the Blitz I was able to go back to my Wiley book for only the portions I felt uncomfortable in, instead of starting the chapters from scratch.

    BEC - 88
    REG - 72, 78
    FAR - 75
    AUD - 64, 64, 3rd attempt!!!
