NINJA Question –

I recently purchased the FAR Book and it’s treating me well so far. However, I’ve hit the bonds section (interest vs. straightline method) and the examples are confusing me. It seems to switch between from the perspective of those issuing bonds and those buying bonds? It’s probably me not understanding bonds enough or something, but could someone clarify whether the example on page# 115 is being broken down from the perspective of the seller or the buyer?

Then the journal entries on page 116 seems to be from the perspective of the buyer? Is it all from the perspective of the buyer?

I think i’m going crazy; any help would be much appreciated!
