I'm planning on taking the AUD exam in Q1 of 2018 and am tight on money. Just wondering if anyone has passed on either Yaegar CPA Review program or the NINJA Sniper package alone.

I ditched my Wiley package basically and passed AUD and FAR using only Ninja – basically the equivalent of the Sniper package. I would say it all depends on your learning style. For me, hammering MCQs has gotten me to finally see some results. I read very little, listened to the audio in the car, and read the book on areas I was clearly weak.

I was able to pass REG with Yaeger, but I believe it was because I work in tax. I failed AUD twice, once with Yaeger only and the second time using Yaeger and Ninja MCQ. I switched to Wiley and passed both AUD and FAR. I agree with Jennifer, you need to know what type of learner you are. Yaeger is good for people who are recently out of school and can decipher accounting textbook type lessons. Ninja is good for people who learn by repitition. Wiley is good for people like me who are visual learners. I don't know if Ninja has a free trial period, but most, if not all of the major review programs have free trial peiods. Try them all out and decide if you think one will work better than another. Best of luck!

I have used Yaeger along with NINJA MCQ/Notes/Audio for my passes of BEC, AUD & REG.

Yaeger to get an understanding of the materials and then NINJA MCQ to hammer in the details through repetition. Supplemented with Notes/Audio.
