Hey guys,
So I'm studying for FAR, hopefully it will be my last exam. With that said I am trying to do all I can to avoid a third take. For those that have used Ninja Plus for FAR how is it? I read the book chapter by chapter but its very dry and overwhelming at times. Not trying to take shortcuts so I will bear with it, in addition, Im planning to get the videos, hence, Im asking for user reviews. I recall someone have said something about Ninja Plus but even with google search nothing comes up.. I appreciate all the feedback. Thanks!

Hi @spartan. I just posted but my post isn't showing up so let me do it again. Ninja Plus for FAR was awesome in my opinion. Bob's videos on bonds were what finally allowed me to understand the effective interest method. He also uses lots of examples and doesn't spend hours just reading from a book like Yaeger does. He uses slides so you can see the problems and solutions a lot easier so you can take notes better. Some of the instructors in Yaeger couldn't write worth a damn and it was hard for me to take notes.

But I felt a lot more prepared this time around using Gleim and Ninja Plus. I went ahead and purchased the AUD for Ninja Plus since I was so happy with FAR's.

Thanks Ascott, im still finishing up the reading in becker. When is the optimal time to start Ninja plus in your opinion? After I go through the material once so basically as a review tool? I also plan on adding the MCQ

I love NINJA Plus. Bob nails the material and makes it really easy to understand. I find it can really bring the material together as a “week before the exam” study tool.

Ninja Plus for FAR will be the reason I passed FAR. Nothing against Jeff and the Audio or MCQ, which are both great, but Bob drives it all home. Well well well worth the price of it.

I bought the Ninja notes and didn't like them and Jeff was kind enough to give me access to Ninja plus because of that, and I got at least 2 points off that in the last couple days. That was the difference between passing and failing.

Ninja Plus was the reason that I passed FAR. Bob breaks everything down pretty simple. His videos on the Statement on Cash Flows was awesome. He made it really simple to remember what goes where.

@StrongMind Gleim prepared me very well. The exam questions I felt were easier than the questions I was doing in Gleim. Gleim is well worth it in my opinion. And their book cuts out a lot of the extra crap that the Wiley book has in it.

@Spartan you can start Ninja Plus anytime. I watched it as I went. I would do a module in Yaeger and Gleim (I still had access to Yaeger so I used it too) then I would watch the corresponding videos in Plus. A lot of times I would be confused or want more clarification then the Plus videos would drive it home for me.

Sorry I didn't answer your questions sooner guys. We had all day CPE at my firm yesterday then I had a Christmas party/charity auction I volunteered at. Yesterday wore me out.

Good luck in your studying! I get my FAR score next Thursday.
