    NINJA Question –

    Hi All,

Does anyone think looking or going over the blue print is a waste of time? Should i use the blue print as a study guide? NOT sure if its the best way to tackle BEC. I plan to start studying for BEC but just need some ideas on how to begin the study. Any advise will be helpful.

    Thanks,

The Blue Prints are your study guide.

For BEC I didn't look at them. I equate looking at the blueprints to asking the professor in college what would be on the final, and the professor saying EVERYTHING. I think the blueprints are stupid. Study everything and for the most part, know how to work everything and you'll pass. The blueprints in no way show you shortcuts to make your studying more effective. Like I said, I think they're a joke. Someone feel free to chime in and correct me where I'm wrong. Tell us why they're valuable and why you should look at them instead of studying for everything and googling highly tested topics.

Make a plan and stick to it. Pick the resources and go. The hardest thing will always be loss of focus. I used the blueprints to confirm if I was over thinking things.

I have never looked at a blueprint. Get a review course and let it do for you the work of deciding what's important to learn.

    AUD - 95
    BEC - 87
    FAR - 84
    REG - 90

Agreed.. just start from top of the review course or a topic of choice and study everything. Everything is fair game on the exam… which is no fun but thats the harsh reality.

    AUD - 86
    BEC - 81
    FAR - 80
    REG - 80

Thank you all for the advice. Will just read everything that's in the course material and hopefully it will cover all topics in the blueprint.
