2 Research questions on SIMS and still pass?

    Hi everyone,

    I took my FAR exam this past Saturday and received 2 Research questions on my SIMS. Has anyone ever received 2 Research questions and passed? The only other time I received two was during my first attempt at AUD and I failed that one.

    AUD - 70,89
    BEC - 84
    REG - May 2013
    FAR - TBD

    I've had two research questions on at least two of my exams (can't remember if I had that on all three), and passed.

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

    Why is this even a concern? I have seen this question asked multiple times, where does this superstition come from?

    I've had 2 research questions on REG and AUD. I passed REG and failed AUD. I think that if you get 2 research questions one of them will be pretest but that's just an assumption.

    REG - 78
    BEC - 74, 67, 69, 69, 70, 79
    FAR - 76

    I thought the MCQ were more challenging than the SIMS, though, (although, the SIMS were not easy), so I think I had a unique experience.

    I had two research question on my first attempt on Regulations and on FAR. Passed FAR and not Regulations…
