Do I have any shot at passing FAR given these facts…

So today I just took FAR for the first time. Multiple choice went fairly well. The first section was easy, second was a lot harder, and third was fairly difficult as well. I ran into problems with time management though when it came to the simulations. I skipped the research sim completely, another sim completely, and filled in only about half of another. In total, 2.5 of the 7 sims were left blank. I feel that I got about 75% partial credit on the remaining sims that I actually attempted. Anyone think I have a shot at a 75, or will I be taking it again?

by reading on this forum, I came to conclusion that EVERYTHING is possible! People report leaving 2 sims blank and passing in 80s.

Perhaps you killed the MCQs and only need small percentage on sims, who knows. After all, the magic number is 75, so keep up good faith and if happen to fail, get back on the track right away while material is still fresh, at least that is my plan.

I'm looking back at my own exam and now thinking that I did MCQs too fast and had too much time on my hands for sims (of which I was afraid off but in reality had always excelled in back in undergrad+grad), so we will see.

Lets get results and then worry 🙂
