How do you approach the MCQ testlets?

Do you flip through and go for the non-calculation MCQ first? Or do you go in order one by one?

I know a lot of people suggest hitting the “easy” short ones first but I have mixed feelings about it since I feel like I might freak myself out if I flip through and see “hard” questions or topics I’m “weak” on.

What have you guys found works best time and efficiency wise, specifically for FAR?

Too much to think about. You'll waste more time trying to decide which ones are easy and then circling back than you will just hitting them 1 by 1. I think the key to time management is, if you don't know it, you don't know it. Guess and move on! Write that question number down and, provided you have enough time, review it one more time when you get done with that testlet. I think people get into trouble sitting on questions 4 or 5 minutes.

I agree with Jimmy Dugan, answer the question and go. Trying to budget time to go back to answer a question is simply too much. It's like family feud, when playing for the $20,000 and the contestant try to pass and go back to the question, the time usually run out or they give a stupid answer trying to beat the clock.

I did them one at a time and rarely flagged anything. If I didn't know it the first time I most likely will not know it the second time, and re-reading the question will eat up precious time.
Hit em fast and hard! One and done.
