Sort of OT, really just a lame attempt at making a thread all about me…haha. 🙂 FAR tomorrow, last test…been at this for a long time! Since 2006. I never thought I could achieve this. I half heartedly tried from 2006-2008, only passed one section. Finally quit and went back to school for my MBA but always had this nagging feeling that I never really tried and what would happen if I really committed to this exam. Anyways, MBA and another kiddo later, I decide I need to do this…for myself and my family…but really to shut up this scared teenager inside of me that sometimes feels like a loser kid (that topic is for a whole different thread..ha!). Seriously wish I could shut her up sometimes!! 🙂

So this is it….75% done and ready to slay my dragon once and for all tomorrow. I hope at least…I have all this nervous energy, like I wish I could go take the exam now! I just took a practice test, 77%…..PPPLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEE oh please let that be a good sign. Anyways vent done, time for a little yoga, prayer and mediation.

And back from the exam. I am not really sure how I feel. The sims were the most challenging I have experienced in any of the exams. So I am on the fence about that one. If I have to retake I really think it will be due to the sims. Siggghhhh… I thought for sure I would have a meltdown of just anxiety/tension/relief walking out of there but no, numb pretty much sums it up. Some of the questions were so specific/hard, I wanted to shake my computer screen and walk out in frustration. HAHA. I had pretty decent time management testlet 1, right on track for 40 minutes, testlet 2 rocked my world and there went the time, testlet three back on track. I ended up starting the sims with 1 hour, 40 minutes and used all but 3 minutes of time. I just hope at this point it was enough to get me those 75 points. Anyways happily eating Jimmy John's for lunch so I feel better! 🙂

Now time for the long wait til November. In the meantime I am going to get to know my husband again and be mom again. Totally looking forward to that! Oh yeah and rip out all the landscaping, finish painting the house, remodel a bathroom, maybe get the basement finished (play area) and hopefully watch some football. Good luck to those studying, keep pushing til the end.

Jeff – thanks for this site and the NINJA notes, audio, tips, etc. I would have never even made it to this point without reading your story and finding a study method that works for me. You are the best and the NINJA method works!!! Hoping for good news in November – until then – enjoy the rest of fall everyone!

I think “Most challenging” is a good thing, maybe it says something about how well we're paying attention or how much we are thinking it through, but the most challenging exam/sims were always my best scores!

Let me be the first to congratulate you on being DONE!
