    I know for a fact that the 4 answers provided were not correct..Do they put these on there to purposely waste your time?

    How do you “know for a fact”? I think it's much more likely that you just didn't do the question correctly. Not that an error is completely out of the realm of possibilities, but when I hear hoofbeats, I think horses, not zebras (i.e., Occam's Razor). Hopefully that question won't make a difference and you'll pass the exam regardless.

    So…I was convinced this happened to me in REG…btw passed with a 75…and I immediately wrote a letter to AICPA (I think you have 72 or 96 hrs to describe the question to the AICPA) and faxed it to their address in NJ. The instructions to do this come with the piece of paper they give you as you exit the exam…they sent me a letter back saying they received it…no other details….but til this day, I don't know if my letter made a difference between a 74 and 75. Since I was writing the letter about a MC question, I also went on to describe two simulations in which I thought the directions were vague…but if you think they are wrong…doesn't hurt to write a letter.

    Now I could be letting my imagination run wild…but what if the letter lead my simulations to get hand-graded…and perhaps they gave me that extra point bc they could see where the directions were vague. You never know, but if you're going to write one, do it while it's fresh! GL

    @1abCPA

    Don't leave the answer blank. That's not going to help you at all. Just guess B and move on. Then follow the instructions for reporting a question and make sure to remember the Testlet and MCQ #s.

    NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

    I passed all four sections on the first attempt

    @ mmcgrad1: Thanks man. I will note it down the MCQ & testlet #s for reporting.
