The further I am away from my test date, the more I feel like I failed. When I walked out I thought, “OK, I think I'm alright. That was better than last time.”

Then I start thinking of questions that I got wrong over and over again. And I tell my husband and he laughs at me because my memory of the exam is probably much better today than it was 2 weeks ago?

It is going to take so much strength for me NOT to check my score at work tomorrow. The entire tax department has passed the CPA exam – including the 22 year old kid that I mentor. Did I mention that he got 2 99s, a 94 and a 90? Oh, the 90 was because he “slacked” on REG. And I forced him to tell me his scores. He didn't want to tell anyone and made me promise I wouldn't tell anyone else at work.

    I hope we're all wrong.

I either NAILED it or it nailed me. Theres no 73, 74, 75, 76 here. haha Im in the 64-66 range or mid 80's. The eazy questions were SO EASY. The hard ones (the ones I guessed on) were the type were the wrong answer could be attained by incorrect calculations. So when I did these problems I would come up with 2 of the possible answers, depending on which way I did the problem. If this makes no sense, I apologize. hahaha ugh hate waiting.

    I'm here too!!

I walked out of the test feeling like I did awful. My problem isn't that I start thinking I did worse as time goes on… no, I start hoping that maybe I made really good guesses. Just leads to a bigger disappointment when you don't pass 🙁

    In the same boat. Sigh…

Kassius, I have a feeling you passed. I felt the same way with BEC and ended up with an 88. I'm not trying to be disrespectful to anyone, but I was surprised at how easy the BEC test was. AUD sims, however, kicked my ass, and lots of people say that's the easiest test, so it's all relative.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

@krystal081 – I am in the same boat as you. I walked out thinking “Well, I'll be taking that one again!” but then came here and heard how brutal the sims were to everyone else too. I felt like I got the med-hard-hard testlet order…so now whereas last week I was almost expecting to fail, it will now be a bigger disappointment because I've opened the window slightly and allowed a sliver of hope to enter my psyche.

Plus it's the first CPA test I've ever taken, so I really have no idea…my score could be 52 or it could be 81…I have no clue!

I'm pretty sure I bombed REG.

It's so weird, since I studied like mad and it still looked like Chinese during the exam.

Hey everyone! I took FAR on May 31st, and i think i failed =( I know that each test let is supposed to get progressively harder, and that's what worries me ! The 1st one involved alot of lengthy calculations, and i did not do a good job with time management. I took about an hour and 15 minutes for the 1st one itself( gosh, way over the budgeted 45 minutes), and the 2nd test let consisted of calculation intensive lengthy questions. I took 1 hr and 15 minutes for that, leaving me VERY little time for the 3rd one and simulations. The 3rd test let was much easier than the 1st 2 ones( which probably means i didn't do too well on the 2nd one 🙁

I am sad because i think i got nervous and panicked during the exam which lead to very poor time management. I also noticed that a few chapters were heavily tested on all 3 sections, so does that mean i performed poorly on those topics ? I also left 1 entire simulation blank and guessed somewhat on the rest. Is there any chance i could still have a chance to pass? All i want is a 75 🙁

Good luck to everyone waiting on their scores! Hope you guys pass! All the best.

@AAStoCPA– yeah, hope is evil. I hope you pass though, passing that first test feels so good 🙂

@latenight– that is exactly how I felt, I studied my butt off and I still was like, “WT&!”
