    Ok so I didnt get the good news that i wanted (57) but there will definitely be a rematch October 1st!! Just to let you know, I didnt do anything of the simulations because I left myself about 30 minutes for the sims. It took me about 15 minutes alone just to understand what they were asking me to do. I think I barely did 2 tabs and it was basically your guess or mine. Here is what my performance report said.

    Framework and Standards (17-23%) Weaker

    Financial Statement Accounts (27-33%) Weaker

    Specific Transactions/Events (27-33%) Comparable

    Governmental (8-12%) Stronger

    Not-for-Profit (8-12%) Comparable

    Multiple Choice (60%) Comparable

    Simulations (40%) Weaker

    Is this telling me that if I would’ve have done the simulations that I would have had a good chance of passing? Like I said, I basically didn’t do any of the simulations and got a 57. Your thoughts suggestions will be appreciated. Regardless, I am going to keep my foot on the gas and pass this FAR exam!! I will be way more conscious of the clock next time i take the exam leaving myself at least 1:30 for the Sims. CONGRATS TO EVERYONE THAT PASSED!

    Yeah that's hard to say, but if you truly left 4 of the SIMs and the reseach Q blank, that's a lot of points lost right off the bat and I would say yes, had you had better time management, you most likely would have gotten a much higher score.

    In your next bout of studying, do the practice exam(s) you have in your study materials and do them as if it were the exam, and practice your time management on those MCQs. And maybe spend some extra time on those two Weaker areas because you know murphy's law says you'll get tested heavily in those areas again! 🙂

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

    As mentioned above, time management is key. You should skip MC questions you are unfamiliar with and focus on the ones you know for sure. It may turn out to your advantage that some of the questions may be pre-test so it wouldn't be worth it to delve too much into the question. You should only be taking about 1-2 minutes per question even for the calculation ones.

    I suggest you leave 90 minutes to 2 hours for the simulations especially for Audit and FAR because these exams require intense calculations and or high analytics; same goes for REG.

    For BEC, you can leave around 45-50 minutes and still write some good fluff to get a decent score. Make sure you know the exam to work your strong points to your success.

    REG = 58 (02-20-13), 75 (05-01-13)
    AUD = 67 (05-29-13), 79 (08-29-13)
    BEC = 83 (07-31-13)
    FAR = 72 (10-29-13), 69 (02-27-14), 73 (04-16-14), 81(08-13-14)
