IL is up.

I finally passed FAR with an 82. It has been 15 years since I took an accounting course. I used the Becker review course on DVD and studied it religiously for 6 months beginning in March 2009.

I had by far the most trouble with FAR having not passed it on the first attempt after 6 weeks of study. Nonethless, only on my second attempt at FAR, I supplemented the Becker course a small amount with the Wiley online program ($99 for 1 month) and the $99 Wiley review on CD which I listened to in my car. However, most of my focus was on Becker.

I totally bombed the sims on FAR the first time and still did not do well on them the second time.

Jeff has a great site and helped my confidence after failing the first FAR attempt.

Is there any updates on the second wave FAR release dates? I know that expected release date was last night, but I still dont see anything and the suspense is killing me! Pass this one and im done so I would love to have my life back!

Just checked my FAR score in IL. I FINALLY passed with an 80! This was my fifth attempt at FAR. After my last failure, I found this website. Jeff suggested Yaeger, so I gave it a try. Definitely worth it. I wish I could take back my previous 4 attempts of FAR (and other tests). Thanks so much Jeff and another 71!

AICPA released scores yesterday and we are just waiting for NASBA to release them to us. They are expected sometime today….not sure when though.

VA FAR scores are posted and I've finally passed. I have been following this site for some time now and finally decided to post. This site has really gotten me through some hard times and I relied on the predictions so I wouldn't kill myself by checking everyday. Also by reading about people who had to take this exam mulitple times with no signs of giving up.

I have been taking this exam for 3 years and part of the reason it took so long was because of work, family obligations, losing parts etc… but I never gave up. Good Luck to everyone!!!
