I have used Becker 2008 for AUD, REG, & BEC. I’m waiting on BEC and have passed the other two. If I use 2008 and get Yaeger CPA Review SFAS 141(R) lecture would this be sufficient? Or have other topics changed?

Trying to budget this exam as much as I can since I’m not working. 🙂

Thanks for your advice and good luck to Oct/Nov Wave 2 people!

    AUD - 89 REG - 81 BEC - 73, 74, 84 FAR - 56, 74, 83. . .Done 🙂

The Yaeger HomeStudy comes with a new book and software…it might be worth it just to spend the $345 since you're taking a 2010 exam. Pay now or risk paying later…just my $.02

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

Thanks for the help. . .I'm used to Becker so I am a little nervous about converting over to Yaeger but I will consider it.

@rejeffy – I know how u feel becuase i am in the same boat myself… at this point i am leaning towards buying the new book from Yaeger.. i already called becker and between the new book + final review + registration, i was given a quote of $800 approx…. and mind you that's @ a discount rate…. Becker is just getting more & more pricer everyday, just my two cents

Coolguy – It sucks but I called Becker today and got the 2010 FAR self study. . .$606 out the door w/out final review (I never use it). :-/ Just need to pass this one then i'm done. . .I do not want to risk using 2008 materials for FAR; i've come too far! Good luck, hope Yaeger works out for you if that's what you choose. 🙂
