ParticipantI hope this review course suits your study needs well, and you're able to stay on track and study and build your confidence and preparation for this exam. Yikes, I would not know how to handle myself if I was in a situation like that. I would be beyond frustrated and demotivated, but I'm glad you're still pushing. Here's to hoping you can get a seat!

ParticipantSigh
I just took my FAR retake.
Felt like everything was going awesome in the first 3 TSBs.
I studied for at least 250hours for the retake. Got 75 or better on all the Becker practice exams. And never saw a question like this… 🙁
I'm so over this.

ParticipantAs part of signing in for the test, you read and check a box stating you agree to the rules which are specific about non disclosure of what is on the exam.
I think it's pushing the envelope to even say that you had 3 NFP and 2 Cashflow Sims, etc. but it is definitely against the disclosure rules to get as specific as you did regarding the cash 2 accrual sim like you did.
Disclosure around the exam, along with cheating, is the reason for the TSA like check-ins with them checking your pockets, glasses to make sure no recording device/camera, etc.
Hope you passed!

I didn't think that broke the rules. Wish I could just delete or edit it, not sure why thats not an option!

ParticipantIt did break the rules. Page 48 of the Candidate Bulletin displays what you agreed to when you took the exam. You also attest that you have read the bulletin when you request your NTS.

ParticipantThanks,
I've sent an email.
I read the page you sent. I'm still not sure that's specific enough to be a violation but it should still be removed.
I find it interesting that they would care (obviously specific questions would be one thing) because this test was totally different from the other test I took. Not like anyone could do anything with that information. lol
Appreciate your help.

ParticipantI am studing FAR via Uworld Roger CPA, and am finding the subject matter broad, just like the review mentioned at the outset.
I got the Roger CPA complete package. No need to rush myself. Starting with FAR as it seems to be the longest and most difficult.
The lectures are easy enough to follow. After completing a chapter….I am finding that the lectures have provided me a solid enough understanding to get through the questions at a solid percentage.
One distracting thing about the lectures….Roger really drives me nuts with how often he smacks his lips before speaking. It's seriously several times a minute. Did nobody tell him NOT to do that!?

ParticipantI would also suggest trying Farhat lectures as a supplement to Roger. What I liked best about Professor Farhat is that he goes over and solves actual AICPA questions. It was super helpful to hear his strategies and how he eliminates the wrong answer straightaway.
