    What is the best way to learn preparing cash flow statement direct way its so confusing

    I failed Far but I have pretty good grasp of cash flow statement. To prepare direct operating cash flow statement, you need prior and current statements for balance sheet and current year for income statement. Look for all the items from b/s and i/s that is related to operations. For instance, to find out cash flow disbursement for disbursement, you need to compute the purchase account. To find Purchase, you need Beg, End, and Cogs numbers. As you can see they are both located from both b/s and i/s.
