I have a question that I was hoping someone could answer. I currently have the 2017 BEC textbook and plan on taking the BEC exam in the 1st quarter of 2018. But I am confused on which material is the most updated material that I should be using for my quarter 1 exam?

Should I just use the material in my book (2017 BEC textbook)
or use the
2017 BEC book update- Nov 2017?
or
Both???

I ask because there are topics like “big data”, “data mining”, and “fraud risk management program” that I though are not testable until April 1st, 2018?

I would use the 2018 book updates combined with your 2017 book.
I plan to hit both the IT sections from the 2017, plus the 2018 supplement, and the chapters covering it in the Gleim book.
Everyone seems to be overwhelmed by the IT questions, so more knowledge can't hurt.
