If I extend my test, do I bring the same (original) NTS to the exam center?

    I extended my test over the phone and do not recall anything being said about my NTS. I’m assuming I use the same NTS I had before I rescheduled, but I thought I’d ask on here. Anyone? Thanks!

    Yes. It doesn't matter when you schedule. The NTS only shows that you are registered to take it.

    I am scheduled to take an exam in October. My NTS expires 1/27/12. If I cancel the exam in October, can I use that same NTS # to book the same exam later in November or January when I feel ready? Or by “cancelling” and not “rescheduling” right now do I lose this NTS completely even though it expires in January?

    As long as you're testing within the time frame specified on your NTS, you will use the same NTS. Depending on your test date in October, you may have to pay a fee to reschedule, but it's well worth it if you aren't as prepared as you'd like to be. Good luck!
