question re: second application/re-scheduling a failed exam

I am preparing to submit my second 9-month application to my State Board, under which I’ll take AUD. FAR scores for the current window are still weeks from being released, so I am unsure where I stand on that test. Should I include FAR on my new application, or am I permitted to schedule a re-test (if necessary) after scores are released?

My concern is that standard procedures for re-taking a failed exam might not hold when candidates switch from the first 9-month application to the second, particularly in scenarios where the failed test is not indicated on the second 9-month application. (Apologies if the scenario is difficult to comprehend. I guess confusing application requirements breed confusing questions.)

The rules and procedures regarding applying for the NTS are the same, regardless if its your first or second time applying. You CANNOT apply for a section on your NTS if you haven't received scores for it yet. NASBA will reject your application.

In CA, you send in your application, pay the fee, and two weeks later they ask you to send in another form indicating what sections you want to take. I usually send in the application two weeks before scores come out, that way I can fill out the sections form as soon as I know my scores.
