After failing AUD recently when I Thought I had a chance to pass, I’ve decided I want to take more time to study for FAR instead of taking it at the end of this month. I’d like to reschedule it for April, but my Notice to Schedule date ends March 13.

How would I go about this? Can I cancel my exam, pay the $35 fee, and then have to wait for after march 13 to apply for a new notice to schedule and reschedule my test and it only cost me another $15 to apply for the new NTS?

After reading the Texas website a little more, it looks like since my NTS is expiring, I have to take the test before then.

It's going to cost you a few hundred dollars for a new NTS :/

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

You got a new NTS when you failed FAR the first time right? You can only use a NTS once (for a particular exam), if you fail, you have to buy a new one all together

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

Also, once it expires, the money's gone, so if you already have an NTS for FAR, you're better off going ahead and studying like mad and sitting. Take your chances. You never know, you might pass. If you don't, you've at least had another look at it.

    AUD - 88
    FAR - 90
    REG - 85
    BEC - 88
