Well I guess that also means that it can happen at any point during the day then.. not just in the morning?

I know that I have received my scores on Saturday before, so I am holding out hope that I will have at least one of my scores before the weekend, even if the offices are closed.

I called NASBA to speak to the Coordinator responsible for California and got their voicemail — out of the office until next Tuesday. I hope we don't have to wait until then.

Wow. Super disappointing if CA scores are dependent on this person, who is now out of the office. It may be a LOOOOOOONNNNNGG weekend. You'd think there would be a way around that.

That sounds realistic…I got my FAR score at like 4:30 am and I had checked at 11pm the night before so it came out in the middle of the night when most likely no one was working. I'm still hopeful to see BEC and REG tomorrow!

However… if NASBA releases the scores tomorrow or Saturday, won't we get those? We just may not get the pre-NASBA scores like we're accustomed to? (This is all assuming that the CA rep is the sole means of communicating the AICPA-released scores).

Can you get your score through NASBA if CA is a non-NASBA state? I wouldn't even know where to look…

Nope – you can only get it from the California Board site.

That's what I thought. If we're waiting on some person who is on vacation until Tuesday, I am going to be royally pissed. What's the phone number to Nasba?

    800-CPA-EXAM is the NASBA #

This is becoming ridiculous. It looks like NASBA states will have their scores anytime now. According to Jeff, they "were supposed to be" out last night, but delayed due to a technical problem. Isn't CA supposed to release the scores before the NASBA states? What's going on????

Yup. Ridiculous! I can not even figure out what the process is for California. CBOA says that they get a direct feed from Nasba when scores are released, but Jeff says that Nasba has nothing to do with California and that we get them directly for AICPA. Then I called Nasba, and they actually have a "California coordinator" who is out on vacation until Tuesday, so I talked to her supervisor, who told me that California got the scores yesterday and that we should be seeing something today when the BOA uploads them. But the BOA says they don't upload advisory scores, they are automatically updated when received. And it doesn't matter anyway becuase the whole state is on freakin FURLOUGH TODAY! Ok. Rant over. I'm so done with this crap.

I dont even see score pending on my status. I just see attended. Is that normal?

Mine still says "Schedule with Prometric", which is clearly outdated. It was weird b/c when I took REG and FAR it updated right after saying that I at least attended. So you are a step ahead of me by having it say you at least attended. My colleagues at work have had the same issue when they took other sections of the exam in CA.

I agree with kristyhana. This whole process is ridiculous. The explanations from everyone are very circular with everyone claiming they are right when saying someone else is responsible. It seems like no one clearly knows who is responsible for what. Hmm…no wonder there is a hold up…
