    Hello Everyone,

I just received my letter from the CBA that I have met all the requirements to obtain my CPA License!

However, since I was born in an odd number year, my CPA license will expire on 8/31/2019.. Do you recommend I wait until after 8/31 to get licensed or just get it right now anyways?

I’m afraid of the CPE requirements for renewal that I’ll have to do, but I was reading in the handbook that if you receive your CPA license within 6 month of your renewal date then they will waive the CPE renewal requirement. Can someone confirm for me if this is correct?

Yes I have a friend who just went through this, they told him he would need to just renew his license since his birthday was within 6 months of receiving his license.
