I’m sitting for the exam in Georgia but am an Alabama resident. Georgia does not take CLEP credits to fulfill the 150 hours. Does anyone know if Alabama will accept CLEP?

Also, will Georgia accept FEMA credits?

If you're open to applying to other states Wisconsin takes CLEP as long as they were accepted by an accredited university. I took a bunch of them and am currently sitting for the CPA exam. As well, Wisconsin does not a have residency requirement.

These are going to be questions that are best for the state board directly. Get answers in writing as it helps if its ever questioned at a later point in time. The state board won't care that someone on a forum told you they would accept “XYZ”. I think generally most state boards will accept CLEP credits IF they are recognized by an accredited university. I know this is the way it is in Texas (I had around a year of college I did by exam, I think 27 of my 151 hours were). Good luck.
