So I live in Virginia, hated public accounting, quit and passed my final section of the CPA. I now got a job at Booz Allen as a pricing analyst and there is no supervising cpa to sign off on my work so therefore I cannot meet the work requirements to be licensed.I’m wondering if there’s some sort of loophole where I can just get a ton of CPE’s or something to still get my license? I know the tests never expire in VA so it’s not that big a deal but I’ve worked so hard to pass these stupid tests I’d like to get the license.

I remember the verifying cpa does not have to be your supervisor in Virginia. You can ask someone else or NASBA experience verification
