Seriously guys. I’m about to take a trip to the CA BOA office tomorrow. I think we are officially the last state to receive our BEC scores. This is my last test! Why are they doing this to me?!?

I’m calling tomorrow every 5 minutes until somebody takes me seriously. No more BS, I’m pissed. Who’s with me? We can have their phones ringing off the hook tomorrow. That might light a fire under them.

If you live near San Diego, they are having Board Meetings at the Westin here on the 24th and 25th. If our scores aren't posted by then I just may have to head down there.

lol- that would be crappy to have a huge earthquake and have them lose all the grades in a freak power outage while transmitting them after they had sent out confirmation emails but before ratifying them……..woaaa hold on I think I felt a lil trem..

Rob,,,i don't mean to be like, disrespectable, brah, but it's like, fully gnarly and stuff here in Cali. you wouldn't understand our, like, plight and stuff. the powers that be fully tax us way too much. Like way! And now they ,like, don't have any dinero, cause all us Cali dudes are losing our homes and can't pay property taxes anymore and stuff. and they're like totally broke dude! No Scratch, brah…capiche? Peeps that work for the gov't can't even work on Fridays anymore dude! It's called a "furlong", or some sh*t. Can't even come in to post scores, cause there's fully dudes with guns and camo gear on standng outside the bldgs and won't let exam coordinators enter the bldg or even pick up the phone dude. gov't administrators are all standing outside the bldgs with picket signs that say "NOT KILLER, Governator-dude!" I try to be like… "Chill fellow-CPA-candidate-dudes,,, stay stoked and catch some tasty waves and and have a beer, bro." but they won't listen.

    Heavy, huh?

I am on it doggonit! Work down the street and would be happy to pay them a friendly (or not so friendly) visit 🙂

Seriously, when are we going to get our scores? Any hope for tomorrow? If they get posted, it will be in the morning, right? This is my first test. PLEASE tell me they aren't all this stressful. Waiting for this elusive score is far more stressful than the test itself. This is making GMATs and applying to b-school seem like a walk in the park.

So I called NASBA a few days ago to see what was up because my last exam (AUD) still says schedule with Prometric. I took the exam 8/11 and the guy told me that they've tried to send the attendance records for 8/10 through 8/12 several times to CA with no success. Apparently, the NASBA and CA systems can't communicate with each other correctly and all exams taken in CA on those days are being held up. I wonder if you can call NASBA and retrieve your score that way instead of waiting on the CA site?

Anyway, no use for me since they haven't posted AUD yet, but I have a feeling it will be a long while before I know. If I don't pass AUD I lose REG, so this is extra stressful for me. Come on CA!

no Fighton, they're not all this stressful. I've been thru 2 before, and you definitely get anxious, but this go around has been a cluster for various reasons. the problem with this situation we have here is that, if you are preparing for another test, or you have deadlines at work, it is completely distracting, and you tend to go slightly OCD (or extremely OCD in some cases) until you get your result. Huskies looked solid on Sat.

TD, thanks for the encouragement. It did seem this round of BEC score releases was extra messy but having this be my first time I wondered if they were all like this…thank goodness no.

Huskies looked ok but I think it was more that Aaron Corp looked terrible. If Barkley doesn't come back soon we are SOL. But I like Sarkisian so if we had to lose to someone I am glad it's him.

sark thought he was gonna lose 48-0. we know now why carroll gave the nod to barkley. Pac10 is tougher this year than the past 3-4 yrs, and sucess or failure the remainder of the season is going to depend heavily on them staying healthy. this site is a great source of info, and a way to vent. how many of your close friends are taking the exams? probably not any, so they can't relate and don't wanna hear your complaining. here you can let it out, and people nod their head and get your frustrations.

I think I'd feel better if I had a confirmation that ANYONE on the California side cares about the problem and is trying to fix it. From the people who have called them, I get the feeling that the score posting process has always happened so automatically, they've never had to try to fix it, so they're just waiting and hoping it works. Please, tell me SOMEONE at the Board is doing something.
