So after dealing with NASBA for what feels like an eternity, I finally was approved for licensure by the State Board last week and received an email from NASBA congratulating me on becoming a CPA. My license number and expiration date immediately were showing in my NASBA Licensing Portal. However, apparently these people still have not sent this info DORA so I cannot be recognized as a CPA at my firm. I called DORA and they said NASBA hasnt sent it. My coworker was approved at the same board meeting and his information appeared on DORA almost immediately. NASBA of course is terrible and doesn’t have an open phone line and wont respond to emails EVER. Has anyone else dealt with this before?

My CO license was approved at the June meeting and it took about a week to get everything listed correctly for CPA Verify and Colorado license lookups. Email Shelly Crosby, Director of Client Services at NASBA and politely ask for help – she is very helpful but it may take a day or so for her to respond. The folks at CO Board are pretty worthless. scrosby@nasba.org
