It used to be about 3 months. Anyone know if that’s changed? Thanks!

So from what you're saying, the 14-15 week lapse is actually 16-17 weeks if there's another step AFTER the board review? I'm not doubting you, but that just seems inconsistent with what everyone else has reported.

I thought it's 14-15 weeks, that's why I called them today to see my status since my application was submitted to board on 2/12. But that's what they have told me, not sure if it's general process or just my case.

Does anyone know where the board is currently at with processing? Also does your name appear on the website as soon as they review it or is there a delay?

It's probably buried in this thread, but where are people calling to? Do you just ask what date they are currently processing?

I've still got a while to go, the board received my stuff around April 24…. I really need my license now! *heavy dramatic sigh*

3.5 Months to get a license. This is so ridiculous. NYS has to be the slowest state in the US to process applications.

Just called today. They said the board has approved my education and experience on 5/25/18 (they received my application on 2/2/18). And now it's forwarded to a processing department to review all the forms and issue license number and that takes up to another 14 days…

hey Golfing, did you get your license number?

Also, I thought that the forms and everything are supposed to be reviewed prior to being forwarded to the board? Or do they review a second time once everything is approved?

They received my application 2/20 and I received an email from them this morning stating that they were requesting clarification on something from one of my experience references. Guess that means that they're processing Feb 20th today (6/4)!

Im starting to think that they only give out one or two days a week. They seem to spend a few days processing one day and then all of a sudden they are doing a week later.

Btw, I recommend to anyone still taking the exam to submit all paperwork prior to passing. I had tremendous issues with nasba so my whole post exam experience is going to be about 6 months, and I met all the qualifications.

jc861 – they informed me that the CPA that signed off on my experience was not registered at the time of the dates that they signed off on. So the scramble is on to get another signature. My employer does not have a lot of CPAs on staff so it's a real task.

For everyone licensed, how long did it take to get the certificate after your name showed up on the website?
