    Hi all,

I just received a score of 74 on FAR which I took at the beginning of August. I had already taken the exam twice receiving 73 on my first attempt and 71 on my second attempt. I am feeling so discouraged about getting a 74 on my last attempt because I was hoping so badly I had conquered FAR.

I am planning on retaking the exam sometime in early October, but I am seeking advice as to how to study for a retake? Do I act as though I am starting fresh and go through all of the material from the start? Where do I begin? I use Becker and NINJA as a supplement.

Any advice would be so appreciated.

Hey there, why don't you switch a book? By this time, I am sure you've remembered most of the questions in Becker and Ninja already. I would recommend you go Google some new questions or get a 3rd test bank (even a trial free version) to get a different taste of the questions, the more different variety of questions you've see, the more your brain is engaged in critical thinking. Try to get away from Beck and Ninja for 2 weeks (to forget the questions) and then come back again. You should score at least 80s to hit the passing grade.

You can do it, just do it. I got 73, and I'm also gonna take FAR again in October. I started everything from 0 again and now I'm working more on my weak areas + I'm gonna do a lot of MCQ's and SIM's until I will score above 80+.

    FAR - 73, 78 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 50 SIMs)
    AUD - 73, 81 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 40 SIMs)
    BEC - 71, 71, 74, 84 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 10 SIMs)
    REG - 84 (WileyCPAexcel 2,000 MCQs, 15 SIMs)
