ParticipantMy exam is on April 18, I thought maybe I needed to reschedule. But today I got a reply from NASBA saying that Prometric would be open from April 16.
Even with the most optimistic thoughts, I do not think the current situation will get better just in 2 weeks. Any candidates with Apr 16-May 10 exams?

ParticipantI don't understand… https://www.prometric.com/corona-virus-update
I submitted my application to schedule the exam and I got a massage from CBA “At this time, and until further notice, mail is being held and not processed while our staff are not on site. During these unfortunate circumstances, applications will not be processed in the normal 4-6 week turn around time”.FAR - 73, 78 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 50 SIMs)

ParticipantI was originally scheduled for April 17th, but pushed it back to the 29th. Since I saw the extension of social distancing, I've pushed it back again to May 19th. I'm not too optimistic of being able to sit in the month of April. I really just want to get this last one done, and hopefully out of the way.

ParticipantThat is really weird…I would reschedule it right now but FAR will expire in May. Damn, if I go to take the test there is chance of getting infected. If I don't go then I will lose FAR credit. I'm really confused now. Considering I'm in New York, I don't think it is a good idea to go out even after 2 weeks. It seems, I will lose FAR credit.

ParticipantIs there any way to get credit extension for a month at least? Directly from NASBA? I'm pretty sure they are closely watching the current situation…but what makes them think that April 16 is safe for taking CPA? I really hope for the extension, basically I will pray for that.

ParticipantJohn2018 You should easily get the extension since you're in New York. The only thing I heard from Nasba is that they're TRYING to request the board to extend the extension to end of SEPT. Hopefully they can reach out to them soon because many are worried about credit expiring
Ive emailed NASBA and they do not help extend credits unfortunately. Only the board has the power and they are not acting fast, very frustrating

ParticipantThey might have to start with in-home proctor testing soon. I don't see how this will continue.

ParticipantMy FAR retake is on April 17. I hope they scatter people to sit at every other testing station. I also hope they either provide mask and gloves or at least let us bring in our own. I want to finish this crappy process but don't want to get infected and possibly die in the process.

Participant@CPAHOPE I hope for that…New York is quite dangerous right now…
@Tugga I don't think so it will work out actually. They may just close prometric for a longer period.
@PDiddy200 Damn, I'm in your shoes too, this REG exam would be the last one…but what makes me more frustrated, I may lose FAR credit in May…this is the saddest part, and I can blame only myself for not finishing these exams earlier.

Participant@John2018 Damn! I hope you get an extension. Fingers crossed!

Participant@PDiddy2000 Thank you, I really hope too. Hopefully, this virus nightmare will end soon.
