    Just passed the IQEX exam, but I am not sure what the next steps are for licensing. Do I wait for a congratulatory letter? If you’ve been through this process, could you provide some insight as to what happens after you pass the exam ad well as the timeframe?

    Will I still need my education evaluated by Nasba or is that exempt because of the reciprocity agreement?

    Hi there – judging by my username I can help you.

    Firstly – which state are you hoping to become a CPA of?

    Secondly – have you actually done the 150 hour requirement? Some states have no requirement if so.

    Finally – which country are you eligible to sit the IQEX? I.e. Canada, Australia/NZ, Mexico etc?

    @IQEX

    I am in NJ, was hoping to get licensed here but they need 150 hrs. I wasn't sure if reciprocity overlooks that requirement. I am a legacy CA from Canada. I already sat for IQEX last month and passed. Not sure what the next steps are. Which states do not have 150 hr requirement?

    If I were you the best state that I have found is Illinois – they have by far the best processes that I’ve found. I haven’t done anywhere near 150 hours and I saw a lot required that even with passing the IQEX.

    The process is very simple just log onto their website and fill out the forms. It took a little while for the whole process to finish, but I remember it being quite simple.

    Any questions hit me up

    @IQEX, I just passed my IQEX today and am looking to get licenced in IL – do I have to wait to receive anything before proceeding with an application? When I go to the website and navigate to IQEX page, I get a page not found message?
