I passed all 4 exams and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Analytics. I am not sure how many credits of my Master's can be applied to 150 credits. How can I check this?
It would depend on your state for specific classes to meet class requirements. For the overall 150 hour requirement, I don't believe they have to be in a certain discipline, as long as your total is over 150.
My state is Alaska. It has a requirement, 150 semester hours with a concentration in accounting that must include:
24 semester hours in accounting
3 semester hours in business law
3 semester hours in economics
3 semester hours in college-level math, statistics and/or computer science
I do have several hours in accounting, economics, statistics, and so on. But I'm not sure how the Board will count them.
I would just ask the board. My board was very helpful with looking at my transcripts and telling me exactly what was needed. It was nice to know I was doing what they wanted, instead of hoping that they'll take it.
