I just found out today that I passed FAR my final section. I took it on 8/13 and knew that I would have my score on the 21st or 22nd. I felt so horrible after my exam and was sure I would have to retake it, so every time people asked me when I would get my score, I gave them the vague response of at the end of the month (which technically wasn’t a lie). This includes my finacee, my mother, my children and my best friend. I didn’t want the pressure of people calling me and texting me the day of score release to ask me if I passed. After a very unproductive day at work, I received my passing score and was over the moon, I cried, I jumped up and down, and went and had a celebratory drink w/ the managing partner and 2 co-workers. I then printed off the page with my score and came home and called my daughters, my finacee, and my mother into the living room. I handed the paper to my mom and she looked at it puzzled for a second and then shouted YOU PASSED!!!!! The look on their faces of sheer joy and surprise (that I already had my score not that I passed bc of course they KNEW I would pass, lol) was worth the past year of sacrifices that we have all made!

BEC - Feb 2012 - 84 (seriously thought I failed this one)
REG - May 2012 - 84 (hmmm.....do they actually grade the SIMS???)
FAR - Aug 2012 - 80

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley

After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

@ JoMarie – Thank You!!!! I know you have a husband and 2 kids of your own so you feel me on the joy of being done not only for yourself but for your family as well. I haven't posted frequently but I have lurked often, and the stress of waiting for your score was almost as painful as waiting for my own. I was in the midst of studying for FAR but neurotically checked the site in search for your good news. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
