Licensure question

I initially registered for the exam in RI, where I attended grad school and worked for a B4 for a year and a half, but recently took a job in NY to be closer to my family. I passed the 4 exams over 6 attempts and have met the requirements for licensure in both NY and RI.

The first step to a transfer appears to be requesting a transfer of scores through NASBA at the following link: https://nasbastore.org/index.php?main_page=product_free_shipping_info&cPath=248&products_id=1097 . However, I wanted to see if there were any preliminary steps I should take to ensure I am not merely burning $25 and sending my scores to no one in particular. If anyone has had a similar experience I would truly appreciate your guidance.
