    Hi All,

Gave REG on 04/23. Just don’t know how it was. Out of all 72 questions only 1 question that was totally new as per my studies. I think may be 7 to 8 are wrong but i m not confident. This is my 3rd attempt and i have lost confidence in myself.

Started CPA a year ago and i m unable to clear to a single paper. Just started feeling that i m dumb at studies. Now trying to focus on AUD but feeling very low. Need to pass this paper for good motivation otherwise i told my husband that if not clear this time i m sure i will go into depression. HA HA HA.. Just praying to god.

How was others experience for REG who gave this week??

    BEC- 73

    REG- 67, 72, 4/23

    AUD- July, 2013

    FAR- TBD

Using Becker 2012 and Wiley Test Bank

    @Gonna:

For most people, the CPA journey is a humbling experience. Candidates (like me) study one's heart out, once ready, take the exam, and as you walk out of the exam feel like you've been put through a meat grinder… At least that is the experience I had with every exam. That's why I would suggest that you stick with BEC and REG until you pass those sections, because you are very close to passing. When you re-study a section, you continue to build your understanding of the topics. However, if you let too much time pass, then you lose a lot of that advantage, as (most) of us forget the vital details and nuisance knowledge that you need to pass. In passing the CPA exam, you want to stack the deck in your favor, so stay with those sections until you are successful. Also when you leave an exam, write down the questions or subjects that were highly tested for you and make sure that you know those questions and the twists on the material that you saw on your exam. Once you've done this, then look at the highly tested areas that you Did Not see on your exam. Start your re-studying there and then re-study all the materials again. You never know what you will see on your re-test, but as I already said, this helps to increase your knowledge for the next go around.

Never give up. Learn from your experience and set a plan to succeed.

    Good Luck!

    AUD 8/04/11: 78
    BEC 1/9/12: 73, 4/04/12: 80
    FAR 10/25/12: 80
    REG 02/25/13: 79

Admirable what you're trying to accomplish. There are plenty of other candidates that are enduring the trials and tribulations of attaining the CPA, just like you.

i have taken each exam (except for reg) more times than you're attempt at REG:

    FAR – 4x, Audit – 3x, BEC – 3x.

Since the beginning of this attempt at the CPA, I was sure that I wasn't made to be an accountant or anything in the field. Two years later, now working at a very large accounting firm, with BEC and Audit passed and FAR in grading, I honestly believe that perserverence, self-confidence, and hard work will allow you to triumph at any challenge facing you, no matter how long it takes.

I completely empathize with your emotional vulnerabilities derived from this exam, as I have been through it plenty of times. Don't throw in the towel, giving up are for losers. Just imagine yourself as a CPA, growing in your career. Just the thought of it makes me want to complete my goal, just to make myself feel like I'm worth somethiing, and I did it purely on brute-will and hard work.

    Thanks @iampei

I know that my future will be great after i m a CPA, but somehow feels very low that even after working so hard god is not looking into me and not giving me what i desire..I will just work hard and will reach my goal.

My goal is to work for Big4. I am just looking myself there. Thanks a lot for the motivation and great help. All the best for your last exam.

Anything worth having is worth working for so don't be discouraged….Everyone journey in life and esp CPA is different

    Gonna be a CPA

Never lose confidence in yourself or your abilities. You MUST be confident that the answer choice you selected is the best choice.

REG is very tricky, but if you understand the basics then you will conquer it.

Are you making your own not cards? Writing the material will make it easier to learn/recall

Since you are preparing for Audit know the basic stuffs such as qualified vs. unqualified vs disclaimer. In practising please READ THE QUESTIONS very carefully. Know why your choice is not right and why the answer is the best choice.

    THINK POSITIVE

    YES YOU CAN
