Don’t try to do all of buslaw/ethics at once. Pull in questions as you study and review other topics. I did mcq’s only as I studied and reviewed other sections plus reviewed the IRC and UCC structures to help make finding things faster during the exam.

I see awesome thanks. So I took Reg about a month ago and got a 72. Didnt really study bus law/ethics at all so that's pretty much what got me. I feel like i'm still pretty sharp on the tax topics. I don't really remember which non-tax topics they tested me on in my last exam which is killin me lol.

I did do sims too…lots. SIMs about killed me on the exam. I was surprised my score was so high when I saw it. Bus law was definitely tested. Good luck!

Hi! I sat for REG in Oct. 2020 and I was surprised about how much bus. law was on the exam, you need to make sure you have a basic understanding, I didn't feel like a deep dive was necessary. I wish I had spent more time on the TBS practice.

I'm currently using UWorld Roger CPA review to study and I've felt they did a great job covering the REG topics, I wasn't surprised by any MCQs or felt blindsided by anything. Good luck with your studies!
